At Lifetime Dental we diffuse essential oils which increases the oxygen level in the air along with reducing bacteria, mold & fungus. Direct palm inhalation is another great method used to benefit from essential oils. It’s as simple as placing one or two drops of essential oils in the palm of your hands, rubbing them in a circular motion & then cupping your hands over your nose to inhale the aroma, helping you to relax.
Painless Dentistry
The comfort process we use at Lifetime Dental is designed to block injection pain, making it safe, gentle & fast!
First, we apply an extra-strength flavored numbing gel to the area where a shot will be given.
We further prepare the tissue with usage of clove oil as needed. This antibacterial & stimulating essential oil creates a profound numbing effect, while its antibacterial properties help to keep the mucosal tissue non-irritated with enhanced circulation.
Finally, we use a gentle pH-neutral anesthetic that closely matches the pH of the body for minimal discomfort.
For patients who prefer a more holistic approach, we use clove oil in conjunction with other essential oils, as an optional replacement of anesthetics.
